Orik Health is a technology platform that connects members with licensed healthcare providers who can evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe treatment for certain conditions, including weight management. Orik Health itself does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All clinical decisions are made by independent, licensed healthcare providers. Medications, when prescribed, are dispensed by independent, FDA-regulated pharmacies.
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of the United States to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and throughout your use of the Services.
By using our Services, you acknowledge and consent to the following:
You consent to receive healthcare services via telehealth (electronic communications), including but not limited to asynchronous messaging, video consultations, and phone consultations as required by applicable state law.
You understand that telehealth involves the communication of your medical information using electronic technology.
You understand that there are potential risks to telehealth, including but not limited to: interruptions, unauthorized access, and technical difficulties.
You understand that you have the right to withhold or withdraw your consent to telehealth at any time without affecting your right to future care.
You understand that the laws protecting the confidentiality of medical information also apply to telehealth.
Orik Health and its affiliated providers do not guarantee any specific health outcomes, including weight loss results. Individual results vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to medical history, adherence to treatment, lifestyle factors, and individual physiology. Any statistics, testimonials, or results referenced on our Site are not guarantees of your individual results.
You acknowledge and understand that:
All prescription medications require a clinical evaluation by a licensed healthcare provider.
Not all members will qualify for prescription medication.
Your provider may determine that medication is not appropriate for you based on your medical history and clinical evaluation.
Compounded medications, when prescribed, have not been reviewed or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for safety or effectiveness.
You should report any side effects or adverse reactions to your healthcare provider immediately.
Pricing for our Services is displayed on our Site and may change from time to time. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees. We do not accept insurance. Pricing is transparent and all-inclusive, covering clinical evaluation, physician oversight, medication (if prescribed), and ongoing support.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting our support team at [email protected]. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds may be issued at our discretion and in accordance with applicable law. Once medication has been shipped, it cannot be returned due to health and safety regulations.
Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORIK HEALTH AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
BY AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES SHALL BE RESOLVED THROUGH BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION, AND YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION. This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our Site. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
